The hotel is approximately 500m from the train station and about 300m from the market square, so very easy access, first impressions are very good, it is set back from the road and is secluded, gorgeous stone work on the outside but then very modern inside, spacious, booking in was easy as I had completed the online booking the day before. Good room, space, two large windows so lots of light. Mini-bar well stocked and room service dropped around a little gift bag with snacks. Breakfast was both hot and cold as you would expect, good range and constantly refreshed. Big car park and wrapped around the hotel which is good, nice gardens and I did sit outside. Staff were polite and helpful, easy going, in the back ground but always there. The bar area is adjacent to a number of alcoves so you can have a meal or just a drink with a degree of privacy. Would I recommend it, yes, I spent four nights there and I felt very relaxed.

Excellent location, between the railway station (8 min. walk) and the city centre (8 min. walk), very easy to find when coming by train. The hotel is located in a historic U-shaped building, previously used as barracks and hospital, on the site of an ancient monastery, surrounded by a lawn and trees, which gives it a quiet atmosphere. That building has been beautifully transformed into a comfortable hotel. The room was entirely satisfying and the buffet breakfast offered a good choice.

ambiance, architecture, spacious room, good mattress, cleanliness, attention to detail, I also enjoyed the folder about Sleep: it was nice to see something that is beyond the usual fare of things to buy and upgrade to. I didn’t have breakfast, so I couldn’t say anything about that.

The breakfast was good but way too expensive. It worked out to $30 each CDN. Which is way too expensive for a breakfast.

Great place for something travelling with the dog, loads of space around the Hotel for a walk. Beautiful surrounding. Spot to park the car. Don't have park on the street. You have to pay but at least its next to Hotel. Tasty breakfast, many options. Iys like 7/10min walk to the centre but its quite enough so you can have a good sleep so its worth it.

Great parking Good size room Comfortable bed, pillows, etc Decent shower Each day you can chose if you want your room to be cleaned or if not you may chose a free drink from the bar or the hotel will donate €3 to an environmental charity.
